How do I find eBooks on the Library website?

Answer

Perform a regular search by entering your keywords on uKwazi search bar. Once you have received your results, on your left side of the screen you will see "Tweak your results" at the top then scroll down to find "Resource type" you may click there to find "eBooks" then click on eBooks the system will retrieve results of eBooks" . To access eBooks you will have to click on Available Online, on the next page scroll down to find Full-text availability then click to one of the options given. You will be directed to a page where the pdf file of the book is available at and you can either view or download.

Alternatively, browse the eBook collections available to users on the Library website. Some of the  eBook collections are:  African Writers’ Series, Dawson’s eBook Collection, Gale Virtual Reference Library, and ScienceDirect eBooks.

To find information on a topic, search within any of the Library’s specific eBook collections. However, it is sometimes more difficult to find information when searching through individual collections as opposed to using the Library’s discovery platform to get information for one’s research.
